Porter B. Rose – Managing Partner Porter@azaleacapital.com Since joining Azalea in 2000, Mr. Rose has been actively involved in the investment activities of the firm. He currently serves as Director of Sunbelt Chemicals Corp., ETAK Systems, Inc., CNC Holdings Corp., and Master Packaging, Inc. From 1968 through June 1997, Mr. Rose worked for The Liberty Corporation (NYSE), the holding company for Liberty Life Insurance Company and Cosmos Broadcasting. During his 30-year association with Liberty Corporation, he served in various executive capacities, most recently as President and Chief Investment Officer of Liberty Investment Group, the investment management subsidiary of Liberty Corporation. Mr. Rose has developed and maintains an extensive network throughout the business and investment communities. He is currently on the Advisory Board of Carolina First Bank and has served on the boards of numerous privately held companies, as well as local and state-wide not-for-profit organizations. Mr. Rose holds B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of South Carolina, and he is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the North Carolina Society of Security Analysts. He is also a distinguished alumnus of the Moore School of business.
