Mr.
Duncan co-founded Azalea Capital, LLC in 1995. Mr. Duncan has extensive
middle market relationships throughout the Southeast and has broad
experience in mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt placements,
corporate finance, marketing and strategic planning. He is a frequent
guest lecturer for professional groups, as well as regional colleges
and universities and is actively involved in all Azalea investment
activities. Mr. Duncan currently serves on the Board of Directors of
ISO Poly Films, Inc., Master Packaging, Inc., B2B Media, Inc., and
Spartan Foods of America, Inc. He is a member of the Board of Visitors,
as well as the Advisory Board of the College of Business and Behavorial
Science at Clemson University. He is also active in several civic and
social organizations in the local community.
Immediately prior to forming Azalea Capital, Mr. Duncan served as the
Chief Financial Officer and a Director of Kent Manufacturing Company.
Prior to Kent, he held numerous positions with First Union National
Bank, most recently as Senior Vice President and Group Manager of the
Corporate Banking Group in South Carolina. Mr. Duncan also headed the
Credit and Investment Committee of a publicly funded Small Business
Investment Company in the state of Georgia from 1988 to 1990.
Mr. Duncan is a South Carolina native and received both his B.A. (1982)
and M.A. (1984) degrees in Economics from Clemson University. |
