Azalea Capital Invests in Brittle Brittle
Azalea Capital is pleased to announce a recent investment in Brittle-Brittle, Inc., which is headquartered in Desoto, TX. This is the second platform investment in Azalea’s fifth lower middle market investment fund.
Founded in 1988 by the Brown family, Brittle-Brittle is a manufacturer of all-natural candy and confectionary products, including peanut brittle, toffee, and other nut-based snack products. The Brown family will remain as owners in the business and continue to be actively involved in the day-to-day operations.
With this investment, Susan DiPietro joins the Company as CEO. Ms. DiPietro is a seasoned executive in the consumer-packaged goods industry having served in leadership roles at the Wrigley Company, Treehouse Foods, Sun-Maid Growers, and Clearwater Paper Corporation.
We are excited about our new relationship with Azalea Capital and Susan Dipietro. This partnership will allow us to significantly expand our product lines and our distribution capabilities, while maintaining our commitment to exceptional customer service.
